Since I’ve been off for a few weeks I thought I’d share my antioxidant rich smoothie that I have for breakfast! When I say eat the rainbow…I mean it! This is a great way to get in all your colors first thing in the morning. I like to use all fresh ingredients, but you could swap in some frozen fruits. I hope you enjoy!
Rainbow Smoothie
Ingredients…..
- 4-5 Strawberries
- 4-5 Raspberries
- 1/3 Cup pineapple
- 1/2 Avocado
- Large handful of preferred greens
- Small handful of blueberries
- 4-5 Black berries
- 1 TBSP chia seeds
- 1 TBSP flax seed
- 1.5 TBSP nut butter
- 1/5-1 Cup pomegranate juice
Equipment….
- Blender
- Knife
- Cutting board
- Roughly chop all ingredients(except pomegranate juice) and add to blender.
- Add pomegranate juice about halfway up to the top of your ingredients.
- Blend and enjoy!
